Video: Referee gets Knocked out, forced out of fight
MMA referee Veikus Swart was knocked out during the EFC 93 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In the main event of EFC 93 , Ziko Magengele took on Martin van Staden in a welterweight bout, at the end of the first round the referee was dropped after a wild punch that caught him in the head as he was attempting to break up the fighters.
Although Swart got up on his feet, he couldn’t continue and had to be replaced.
It didn’t end well for Martin van Staden!
In the third round he received a hard shot from Magengele that sent him to the canvas.
Magengele5 (4-0) managed to retain his belt and remained undefeated.
