Fury knocks out Whyte at Wembley, full fight video highlights

The Gypsy King retained his WBC heavyweight world title as he floored his opponent with a massive right uppercut.

Tyson Fury stops Dillian Whyte with a stunning right uppercut in the sixth round out of nowhere in front of more than 94,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

Whyte was attacking as he did for much of the fight when he was hit in the nose by a solid Fury jab. But instead of shuffling off to the side as he did so often in the fight, Fury followed that jab with a right uppercut that stunned Whyte and sent him crashing to the canvas. Whyte, who appeared to lose a tooth from the mighty punch, got to his feet and tried to show he was ready to continue but then staggered, leading the referee to end the fight at 2:59 of the sixth round.

Fury vs. Whyte fight card, results:

  • Tyson Fury (c) def. Dillian Whyte via sixth-round TKO
  • Ekow Essuman def. Darren Tetley via unanimous decision (117-111, 116-112, 116-112)
  • Nick Ball def. Isaac Lowe via sixth-round TKO
  • David Adeleye def. Chris Healey via fourth-round TKO
  • Tommy Fury def. Daniel Bocianski by referee’s decision (60-54)
