Video: Jake Paul practices leg kicks, tweets at PFL and Bellator

Jake Paul is taking a step towards potential move to MMA in the future.

Paul (5-0) is fresh off his sixth-round knockout win over ex-UFC champ Tyron Woodley in a rematch of their meeting this past August that he won by split decision. After the victory Paul has teased an eventual move to MMA and has claimed that he’s been in contact with the American Kickboxing Academy.

“I don’t see why if I can do boxing at this high of a level that I couldn’t do MMA at this high of a level,” Paul said to ESPN. “I’m gonna go get coached up by Jav Mendez, Team Khabib. That’s that. They’re down — 100 percent… I’ve gotta go 10-0, 12-0 in boxing first and then I’ll hit that MMA fight.”

On Friday, The social media influencer turned boxer shared a video of him practicing leg kicks for the first time and tagged Bellator and PFL in the tweet, which immediately made some buzz.

“1st day training kicks, Doubted every step of the way.. but kick down the doors of the doubters.” Paul wrote.

Shortly after his tweet, PFL responded and paying attention to Paul with a gif of Dwayne Johnson being impressed.
