Melvin Guillard suffers orbital fractures in KO loss at BKFC Montana
Former UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard suffered orbital fractures after nasty knockout by Joe Riggs.
Guillard collided in the main event of BKFC Montana last night with Riggs in a fight that didn’t last long at all, Melvin was brutally knocked out with one punch ended up breaking his orbital bone.
Riggs won the fight early in the first round when he caught Guillard with a beautiful straight left hand, the 38 years old found himself on the floor and the fight was over by knockout just 59 seconds into the contest.
“Young Assassin” took to social media to announce the news of his injury, Guillard had surgery and has said that he suffered five fractures to his right orbital bone.
Just found out at 3:15 a.m. I have five fractures in my orbital so I will be having surgery today just wanted to get my fans friends and family the news I’ll be okay just keep me in your prayers I’ll be lying if I said I wasn’t a little scared right now we’ll see what happens.
