The eyes of the boxing world are once again on Las Vegas, as the MGM Grand Garden Arena prepares to host its 100th championship card this Saturday night. The main event of the PBC on Prime Video PPV features Gervonta Davis defending his WBA lightweight title against Frank Martin.
Davis, known for his one-punch knockout power, is making the first defense of his recently acquired WBA lightweight title. His opponent, the undefeated Martin, has swiftly climbed the ranks to become one of the top contenders in the lightweight division.
Tonight’s ‘Davis vs. Martin’ bout ended with another sensational knockout victory for ‘Tank’. After a slow start in the first couple of rounds, Gervonta Davis began to pressure Frank Martin in rounds four and five. The reigning WBA lightweight champion rocked Martin in the seventh round and ultimately knocked him out for good in the eighth round.
