Conor McGregor confirms UFC return against Michael Chandler this summer

Conor McGregor has officially announced his much-awaited comeback to the Octagon. He’s set to face off against Michael Chandler in what promises to be a sensational matchup scheduled for this summer.

In a recent interview with Barstool Sports during a promotional event for ‘Road House’, the former ‘champ-champ’ made a significant revelation regarding his upcoming fight against Michael Chandler. McGregor’s remarks also hinted at a potential return to the cage in a different weight class than before.

Robbie Fox from Barstool asked McGregor about his fighting plans, specifically mentioning his prior mention of a desire to face Michael Chandler at 185 lbs. McGregor replied, indicating his openness to different weight classes by saying, “Yeah, I’m gonna jump on a scale though, I haven’t jumped on the scale in a minute so, I’ll get on the scale. Yeah, 185, 170, I actually, let’s see what the scale things. Main thing is, I’ve got great news, I got the call, everything, it’s all a go..”

Although McGregor didn’t confirm the exact weight limit for the bout, his statement implies that progress is being made in scheduling the fight, offering relief and excitement to fans anticipating his comeback.
