Video: Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva brutally suffers ugly knockout loss
Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva continues to suffer brutal knockout losses, extending his losing streak to seven.
On Friday, at an MMA Series event in Moscow, Silva (19-14), a former UFC title challenger and at a time one of the most feared heavyweights on the planet squared with the Russian heavyweight Oleg Popov who was (14-1) going into the fight with 10 finishes.
The two fighters got off to a strong start in a closely contested Round 1, but in the 2nd Round at just 15 seconds, Popov hit a charging Silva with a left hand that immediately sent him down to the canvas. The 42-year-old Silva has lost seven straight MMA fights since a win over Soa Palelei at UFC 190.
