Paddy Pimblett defeats Jordan Leavitt in second round with incredible submission at UFC London
Liverpool MMA star Paddy Pimblett has done it again with a statement victory against Jordan Leavitt at UFC London.
Pimblett (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) remained unbeaten inside the octagon when, as the biggest favorite on the card, he secured a second-round submission victory over Leavitt (10-2 UFC) in their lightweight bout at at UFC Fight Night 208 at O2 Arena in London.
Although Leavitt put up a valiant effort, it was just not enough to weather the storm that the Scouser brought forth.’The Baddy’ landed a takedown and subsequently transitioned to Leavitt’ back trapping one of his arms with a body triangle, Leavitt was quickly caught in a rear-naked choke.
