Despite Tuivasa’s strong start, where he landed significant elbows and opened a cut on Tybura’s head within the first minute, Tybura swiftly turned the tide and executed a takedown shortly after and maintained control on the ground, Tybura transitioned to Tuivasa’s back, delivering a barrage of ground-and-pound strikes. Within moments, he applied a rear-naked choke, rendering Tuivasa unconscious.
