This fight is a rematch from two years ago when Aspinall suffered a knee injury just 15 seconds into the bout, resulting in his only defeat in the octagon.
The Englishman fully recovered, achieving two emphatic knockout victories on his way to capturing a UFC belt. After his initial fight with Aspinall, Blaydes lost to Sergei Pavlovich but rebounded with a stoppage win over Jailton Almeida.
