Tito Ortiz’s debut with Combate Americas was a complete success. And very easy, in fact.
The former UFC champion easily dispatched former WWE world champion, Alberto ‘El Patron’ in the featured bout of the Combate Americas Hidalgo .
Although Ortiz at 44 is far from his best days, he made it look too easy how he submitted ‘The Patron’, whose last fight under MMA rules had been almost a decade ago when he was knocked out by Yamamoto Hanshi in the Cage of Combat 4: Spanish Bombs .
The former UFC champion knocked down the Mexican for the second time, beat his back and subdued him with a Rear naked choke when there was still more than a minute and a half of the first round.
After the fight, Ortiz received the congratulations of the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
