Scott Coker: Bellator light heavyweight grand prix winner Will be the best light heavyweight in MMA

Bellator president Scott Coker believes he has the best light heavyweight fighter in the world.

In the main event of Bellator 268, Champion Vadim Nemkov scored a submission win against Julius Anglickas to remain the Bellator light heavyweight champion, in the co-main event Corey Anderson knocked out Ryan Bader in 51 seconds of round one to advance to the finals of the promotion’s 205lbs Grand Prix. Unsurprisingly, Nemkov and Anderson will be competing for the title and the $1 million tournament prize.

Scott Coker spoke to the media about the performances of the two fighters, called the Bellator 205lbs Grand Prix winner the best light heavyweight fighter in MMA.

“This was a gauntlet of 205ers and whoever wins this tournament, to me, is the best 205er on the planet, period,” Coker said (via MMAFIGHTING.COM).
