‘Russian Popeye’ Kirill Tereshin faces death

In his latest of several unsuccessful fights, Kirill Tereshin At Risk Of Dying If Petroleum Jelly Isn’t Removed From His bulging fake biceps.

Ex-soldier Kirill Tereshin, 25, known as the “Russian Popeye,” was forced into an early stoppage by injury in an exhibition fight inside the Octagon. Tereshin has long been the subject of attention for his bizarre and concerning body modifications, now he is paying the price which may include losing the use of his arms.

After he injected himself with three litres of the petroleum jelly, Tereshin needs two surgeries to drain his arms and remove his fake biceps, his Doctor persuaded him to save his life by having the poisonous mounds removed.

“I am very lucky that there are doctors who took me on. God forbid something happens to this nerve and I cannot move my arm,” said Tereshin.

 “I really worry about this. I am very afraid…I should have thought about this earlier, I know. I blame myself, I know I’m guilty,”

“I’m only 25, and my immune system is so far coping with this inflammation, but I really do not know what will happen next. That is why I started the surgeries to get rid of this nightmare,” he added.
