Misfits Boxing 22 results: Darren Till destroys Luke Rockhold with vicious KO
In his boxing debut, former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold lost to fellow UFC veteran Darren Till.
Without a UFC event this weekend, MMA fans tuned into a Misfits Boxing card instead. The main event featured two former UFC stars, Darren Till and Luke Rockhold.
Having already built a 3-0 record in exhibition boxing, Till was a huge favorite going into the match. He went on to brutally knock out Rockhold with a left hand in the third round, winning the Misfits Boxing Bridgerweight title.

Luke Rockhold (16-6 MMA, 0-1 boxing) started his boxing debut strong, controlling the pace with his jab. However, Darren Till quickly found his rhythm, landing two powerful left hands at the end of the first round that nearly ended the fight. The second round was equally difficult for Rockhold, 40, as Till’s left hand continued to find its mark.
In the third round, 32-year-old Till overwhelmed Rockhold, slipping a left hand through the American’s guard and knocking him unconscious in the corner of the ring.
