Deiveson Figueiredo beats Marlon Vera
The UFC Abu Dhabi main card features a highly anticipated clash between No. 4-ranked bantamweight Marlon Vera and No. 6-ranked former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo.
After dominating the flyweight division, Figueiredo has quickly made his mark at bantamweight with impressive wins over Rob Font and Cody Garbrandt. Looking to continue his ascent, he aims to add Vera to his growing list of victims.
Vera most recently competed at UFC 299 on March 9th, where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Sean O’Malley in a championship bout. Prior to that, he experienced a split decision defeat against Cory Sandhagen in a main event matchup on March 25, 2023. Vera’s record in his last three contests stands at 1-2.
