In the main event, the vacant heavyweight title is up for grabs as Jon Jones makes his return in the cage after a three-year absence from the Octagon to take on No. 1-ranked heavyweight Ciryl Gane for the vacant belt.
Jones has been away from the Octagon since his victory over Dominick Reyes in February 2020. Since then, ‘Bones’ took some time away from the sport as he admitted he lacked motivation when going up against ‘lesser opposition’.
Gane is 9-1 in the UFC with his only loss coming to a current free agent – and the most recent heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou – at UFC 270 in January 2022, but has since rebounded with a knockout win over Tai Tuivasa.
