Fedor Emelianenko blames Dana White for failed negotiation with UFC

Considered the best MMA heavyweight of all time, Fedor says the president of the UFC was “insolent” in the negotiations: “More humanity and this fight would have happened”

After Dana White revealed that the Russian was close to signing with the company, the former champion confirmed his statements, but said the failed negotiation did not take place because of him.

In an interview with TASS , Fedor said:

We had several meetings, we negotiated. If Dana White wanted this fight to happen, it would have happened. I didn’t ask for anything out of the ordinary. He spoke with such boldness and insolence that we disagreed. If he had approached with more humanity, this fight would have happened. And perhaps there were several others. said Fedor.

The UFC president revealed that he intended to make a super fight between Fedor and the WWE star Brock Lesnar. At the time, both accepted the fight, but the negotiation did not take place.

Despite never having used the UFC gloves Fedor said he doesn’t feel the weight of not having participated in one of the biggest events in the history of the sport. With great fights in Pride FC and victories against MMA legends , the Russian claims to be satisfied with the way he made his career.

I don’t think about it. I don’t live for any dreams, but for what I have. I had wonderful fights at that time, before and after. If it didn’t, that’s fine.

Fedor is considered one of the best fighters of all time. The Russian made 46 fights, obtaining a record of 39-6 and 1 No Contest .

In his last fight, he knocked out Rampage Jackson in the Bellator 237.
