F*ck a weight class,’ Nate Diaz appears to be uninterested in a comeback at 155 pounds.

Nate Diaz declares he’s a welterweight, but adds ‘f*ck a weight class’ to fight Dustin Poirier

since a “BMF” title loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244, UFC star Nate Diaz hasn’t fought in 15 months.

On Twitter Diaz declares that he’s available for fights in the welterweight division, he wrote: “Come get you some of the real.”

A follow-up tweet 20 minutes later took aim at Dustin Poirier: “f*ck a class” following a video showing “The Diamond” using some very strong “fighting words.”

Diaz has fought numerous times at welterweight in the past and Poirier has mentioned before that he would be willing to go up to 170lbs for fun fights like that. Although Diaz hasn’t necessarily “earned” a fight with Poirier based on his wins and losses as of late, we all know that the UFC is all about making the biggest fights possible, and it doesn’t get much better than a Poirier vs. Diaz fight at 170lbs.

The two were set to thrown down at UFC 230 back in 2018 but the bout was scrapped after Poirier was forced out with an injury. Unfortunately, the fight was never booked again, leaving the two men with the increased desire to settle their differences inside the cage.
