watch: Carlos Ulberg Knocks out Dominick Reyes in the first round

Carlos Ulberg secured his position as the top light heavyweight contender by brutally knocking out Dominick Reyes in the main event of UFC Perth on Saturday night.

The opening round started slowly, with Reyes showing hesitation while Ulberg patiently chipped away with leg kicks and punches, subtly controlling the pace. The fight erupted late in the round when Ulberg landed a hard jab-right hand combination that dropped Reyes. Ulberg followed him to the mat, delivering two final, brutal punches that instantly ended the fight at the 4:27 mark of Round 1, forcing the referee to intervene.

Ulberg, 34, enters the bout with flawless momentum, having won his last eight fights, including victories over former champion Jan Błachowicz and seasoned contenders Volkan Oezdemir and Alonzo Menifield.
