Video: Sean Strickland Enters Cage, punches fighter in face for taunting him
At Tuff-N-Uff 145, Strickland cornered his unbeaten teammate Miles Hunsinger in a middleweight bout against the undefeated Luis Hernandez.
During Round 2, just 49 seconds in, Hunsinger attempted a clinch but inadvertently left his neck vulnerable, allowing Hernandez to secure a standing guillotine choke.
With Hunsinger caught in the choke, Hernandez added insult to injury by sticking his tongue out at his opponent’s corner, which included Strickland and Chris Curtis. The moment Hunsinger tapped, Hernandez intensified his taunts with middle fingers and lewd gestures aimed at his crotch. This proved to be the breaking point; Strickland and Curtis immediately rushed the cage. As Curtis grappled with Hernandez, Strickland landed two forceful overhand rights before officials from both the commission and promotion stepped in to prevent further mayhem.
Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis just went crazy on Luis Hernandez for beating their teammate. 😭#MMA
