Watch: Manel Kape TKO Asu Almabayev

Manel Kape TKO Asu Almabayev in the third round, solidifying his position as a major threat in the UFC flyweight division.

Originally scheduled to headline UFC Vegas 103 against Brandon Royval, Manel Kape’s fight was altered in early February. Royval’s training camp was derailed by concussions, leading the UFC to bring in Asu Almabayev as a last-minute replacement.

Following a tough decision loss to Muhammad Mokaev at UFC 304 last summer, Manel Kape rebounded with a decisive knockout of Bruno Silva in December. Meanwhile, Asu Almabayev arrived with considerable momentum, having won his last four UFC fights and maintaining a lengthy unbeaten run outside the organization.
