UFC 308: Magomed Ankalaev beats Aleksandar Rakic
On Saturday, Magomed Ankalaev and Aleksandar Rakic will clash in a highly anticipated 3-round light heavyweight bout at UFC 308, held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Ankalaev enters the bout on the back of a 2nd-round KO/TKO victory over Johnny Walker in January, recovering from a 1st-round no contest in October 2023. Before that, he fought to a controversial draw against Jan Blachowicz in a title fight at UFC 282 in December 2022.
Rakic, on the other hand, is currently on a two-fight losing streak, both via KO/TKO, against Jiri Prochazka and Jan Blachowicz. His overall record in the past five fights stands at 2-3.
